It was such a neat experience. It was started in the field and the last canvas of the March trip where I had been playing cat and mouse with the weather. On start, I had blue sky to the east, albeit cloudy. Midway through, I start getting hit with pellets of icy snow, which I ignored assuming it was just another winter squall. fifteen minutes later the pellets are getting more intense and I turn around to see the wall of a blizzard coming down off the mountain to the west. In the five minutes it took to break down, it was approaching white out. There ended the trip. That kind of experience is why I paint. Its when I feel most alive and part of things. Its going to be hard to let this one go.
